Ingredients
| 4 C | flour |
| 4 T | sugar |
| 1 ts | salt |
| 1 C | solid vegetable shortening |
| 1 C | butter |
| 2 C | ice water, mixed with |
| 2 T | vinegar |
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt together with a fork. Rub in shortening and butter with a sharp knife or pastry blender.
- Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the mixture comes together, between 12-14 tablespoons.
- Chill before use. Brush finished crust edges with milk before baking.
